BUYER NOTES

Clear questions for responsible Reishi sourcing.

This section keeps the educational spirit of the original site while removing disease and therapeutic claims, focusing instead on neutral buyer information.

01

How do whole Reishi, fruiting body and spores differ?

The fruiting body is the mature fungal structure; spores are reproductive cells released by it. Commercial formats include whole pieces, slices, powder, oil and tea. A format name alone does not establish quality.

02

What does ‘broken cell-wall’ mean?

Reishi spores have a resilient outer wall. Cell-wall breaking is a processing step, but any percentage, method or test basis should be supported by verifiable batch data rather than treated as a universal claim.

03

What documents should a buyer request?

Depending on product and market, review specifications, batch testing, ingredient and allergen information, origin and manufacturer, packaging material, shelf-life basis and applicable certificates.

04

Do Chinese credentials authorize overseas sale?

Not automatically. Each destination has its own rules for ingredient eligibility, food category, claims, label language and import documents. The buyer and local advisers should review them.
